Hey my lovelies! So it’s been a while since I’ve been on here, or pretty much any of my blog social media so thought I’d give you a little update as to what’s been going on in my world (for anyone interested!)
So I’ve literally just finished uni for the year – whoop whoop! So that’s year 2 finished for me! I’ve studied some interesting modules, done lots of researching for my essays and have found some new areas of interest. The modules I did this year were:
- Land of Hope and Glory? Britain since 1900
- Terror, Consent and Resistance in Nazi Germany
- Public History and our Present Debates
- Humanities in a Digital World
- War and Revolution in Vietnam, 1930-1975
- Extended Essay (which I wrote on the effectiveness of the Special Operations Executive of WWII)
So as you can see it’s been interesting, thought provoking and completely depressing at times. But these horrible things do need to be remembered.
On a personal note, all is good with me. Working lots and now about to enjoy a summer of reading, sewing, hanging out with my fur furbabies and spending time in the sun (hopefully!). I will definitely be popping up more reviews, I’ve still got plenty on my backlog so hopefully will get through these in the next few months, and I’m also taking part in a few tours for authors I’ve worked with before, so keep your eyes peeled! I’ll also be doing prep reading for year 3…..I’ve got dissertation to write after all!
So……for anyone who has read this far, thank you!! And thank you for still coming back and supporting my blog, even if it is very quiet. As I say, hopefully it will be more active over the summer!
